Yucca Veterinary Medical CenterRubi Garcia, Veterinary Technician

Rubi joined the Yucca Veterinary Medical Center team when the hospital opened in October 2013. As our veterinary technician, her responsibilities include scheduling appointments, dentals, bovine pregnancy testing, laboratory work and assisting during surgery. She studied veterinary assisting at Pima Medical Institute and is focused on providing the best possible care to all our patients and clients.

When not at work, Rubi enjoys spending her time drawing, painting and hiking. She has five pets: Kuma, a Chihuahua, Kitty, a Siamese cat, and three Siberian Huskies named Eclaire, Kiba and Yuki.

Yucca Veterinary Medical CenterAneth Ramirez Chavez, Receptionist

Aneth has been cheerfully greeting Yucca Veterinary Medical Center's clients and patients since February 2015. As our receptionist, her other duties include scheduling appointments, answering the phone, following up with our surgical patients and checking patients in. Aneth attended the University of New Mexico Valencia campus. "I enjoy working at Yucca Veterinary Medical Center because we work as a team," she says. "I also enjoy the friendliness I see every day."

Outside work, Aneth spends her time camping, swimming, playing tennis, fishing, hiking and planning social events with friends and family. She has two dogs named Puma and Hemi.

Yucca Veterinary Medical CenterSarah Sinclair, Veterinary Technician

Both cheerful and driven to succeed, Sarah joined our Yucca Veterinary Medical Center team in February 2014. As our veterinary technician, she prepares patients for examinations and surgery, takes radiographs, completes laboratory work, dispenses medications and handles vaccinations.

"I love working with the people at our clinic," she says. "For me, it's more of a family than just co-workers. We have an amazing staff and I'm truly blessed to be a part of Yucca Veterinary Medical Center."

Sarah enjoys spending her free time with her family, going to the gym and cooking. She also cares for two cats and two dogs and breeds and raises pigs.

Yucca Veterinary Medical CenterChelsea Rae Woodcock, Veterinary Technician

As our veterinary technician, Chelsea assists on farm calls, prepares cattle for breeding, assists during surgery and manages large animal in-patient care. Organized and reliable, Chelsea graduated cum laude in December 2014 with a degree in Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She joined our practice in January 2015.

"I enjoy working at Yucca Veterinary Medical Center because of my fellow technicians and Dr. Sanchez," she says. "Being a part of a team and helping pets in the community is so rewarding. Under Dr. Sanchez's guidance I also feel I'm able to learn more about animal health and medicine."

When not at work, Chelsea spends time showing her Charolais cattle throughout the country, and is involved in the American International Charolais Association. Along with her own Charolais cattle, Penny, BB, Cali and Dutchess, she also has a calico cat named Chloe. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys reading historical fiction and quilting.
